Graduated as MD in 1983 from the University of Paris and specialized in Stomatology. He gained his periodontology degree from the University of Southern California (USC) and is diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
He was clinical Assistant-Professor at USC and Associate-Professor at the Dpt of Perodontology of the University of Paris-6.
He is head of the Oral Rehabilitation Center of the American Hospital of Paris and maintains a private practice limited to Periodontology and Implantology in Paris. He has been placing implants for over than 25 years and is involved in advanced reconstructive surgery.
He founded the EID (Excellence in Dentistry) association in Paris and leads the EID research group. At the helm of the EID, he organizes each year at the American Hospital of Paris a live surgery day with finest and renowned surgeons from over the world.
He authored more than 150 scientific and clinical papers as well as 14 authoritative textbooks dealing with Clinical implantology, Oral surgery and Computer Guided surgery. His Manuel of Clinical Implantology published in 1998 has now successfully reached its 3rd edition (2012).
